OPPO Reno 10 5G BGMI Graphics Setting

The OPPO Reno 10 5G offers a range of graphics settings for gamers, including smooth + extreme frame rates. However, it lacks support for a 90Hz gaming experience. The maximum setting available is ultra, with options for balance, HD, and HDR. While HDR provides the highest visual quality, it's essential to note that there is no support for 90Hz gaming, which could disappoint some users.

OPPO Reno 10 5G Gaming Performance

During gaming sessions on the OPPO Reno 10 5G with smooth + extreme frame rates, the overall experience is mediocre. The phone manages to maintain a somewhat smooth gameplay experience at 60fps during TDM matches with minor frame drop upto 5. However, there is a noticeable 5 - 7 fps drop during fights and landing on the Erangel map, also there is huge drop in FPS in sanhoke map througout the match which may affect gameplay fluidity.

When using the HD and ultra graphics settings, the visual quality improves, but the performance takes a hit. The gaming experience becomes less satisfactory, with frame drops becoming more frequent during intense fights and gameplay. The pro game mode, surprisingly, doesn't enhance performance as expected and leads to lower frame rates during both landing and combat scenarios.

Battery and Temperature:

After playing games for approximately 42 minutes on the OPPO Reno 10 5G, the phone's temperature reached 41.7 degrees Celsius on the front and 38.5 degrees Celsius on the back. The room temperature was measured at 32 degrees Celsius with the AC on. While the heating is noticeable, it doesn't cross alarming levels.

On the positive side, the battery drop during the gaming session was only 9%, which is quite impressive and allows for extended gaming sessions without frequent recharging.

Conclusion:

The OPPO Reno 10 5G's gaming performance leaves much to be desired for hardcore gaming enthusiasts. While it manages to maintain a relatively smooth gameplay experience during TDM matches, there are noticeable frame drops during intense combat situations and while landing on the Erangel map. The absence of 90Hz gaming support and the underwhelming performance in the pro game mode further dampen the gaming experience.

Additionally, the heating issue might be a concern for some users during extended gaming sessions. While the phone's overall design and performance in other areas are commendable, it is not recommended for gaming enthusiasts seeking top-tier performance. If gaming is your primary focus, it is advised to explore other options better suited for hardcore gaming experiences.
