MediaTek Dimensity 9200 will be officially launched on 8th November while Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be launched around 16th November 2022. The Dimensity 9200 will be built on the 4nm TSMC architecture.
This chipset actually beats Apple's technology, which means these chips have higher benchmarks than the A16 Bionic chipset that is included in the Apple iPhone 14 Pro. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be equipped with Adreno 740 GPU while Dimensity will equipped with Mali-G715 which is the latest GPU from Immortalis. In the 1080p Manhattan 3.1 offscreen test, the Adreno scored 217 FPS, while the Mali-G715 scored 228FPS, a test the Dimensity 9200 won, But Apple's A16 Bionic chip lost the race as it only scored 195 FPS.
