MediaTek has officially indicated the latest dimensity 9th generation processors which will be announced on 8th November 2022, this series will have two processors which are 9000 and 9000+, Both these processors will support 5G.
The chipset is reportedly equipped with Octa core CPU and flagship GPU Immortalis-G715 that is designed to boost the gaming experience, The core of this CPU will be made from Arm Cortex x3 technology which is a high performance technology from Arm. MediaTek is yet to make any processor that can enter the flagship smartphone chipset market and take over the Snapdragon 8th generation processor, But this processor can take over Snapdragon's 8th processor.
Since MediaTek is the only competitor to Snapdragon chipsets that will grow with this series and Snapdragon will make more technical improvements To produce more powerful processors that can handle this series.

Will MediaTek Dimensity 9200 beat Apple's A16 bionic chip?

In the leaked benchmarks of this chipset, the overall AnTuTu score of dimensity 9th gen processor is higher than Apple's A16 bionic chip that comes in iPhone 14 pro max. MediaTek Dimensity 9200 scored 217FPS while Apple's A16 bionic chip scored 195 FPS. But we don't have much information about other performance checks that will come up when the CPU hits the market. So these latest processors from MediaTek may have some technology improvements.
If this chipset becomes successful then MediaTek will have a chance to enter the flagship smartphone chip market.

First phone to be equipped with MediaTek Dimension 9200

Some upcoming phones to be announced this November that could be equipped with this chip. Redmi has launched Redmi Note 12 in China but Note 12 Pro+ could have this chipset which is to be announced in India in February 2023. Other upcoming phones are moto s30, xiaomi civi 2, infinix zero ultra, iqoo neo 6 se.
