Xiaomi launched Redmi k20 and k20 pro in India about 3 years back which is quite a good phone now we have redmi k50i to review.

Processor

Redmi k50i is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor which is a powerful processor, it means you can play games and high quality videos very smoothly.

Memory

Redmi k50i consist up to 8GB DDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, both of which are based on the latest technology resulting in faster performance of the phone, there is no expandable SD card support in this phone.

Software

Redmi k50i is loaded with MIUI 13 which is based on Android 12. Xiaomi has worked a lot in terms of optimizing miui 13, there is no major bug in this software. Overall the performance of this software is very good

Display

Redmi k50i flaunts a large 6.6-inch LCD screen that supports dynamic refresh rates up to 144hz. Brightness and colors are quite good in this display panel. There is no AMOLED display in this phone but in my opinion the LCD display with 144hz refresh rate is much better than the AMOLED screen.

Redmi k50i 67w is equipped with a 5000mAh battery with fast charging support. You can get a full day battery backup on normal usage. You will get a 67W fast charger in the box, which is a beneficial deal in this price range.

Camera and sensor

The Redmi k50i sports a triple camera combination at the back which is a 64MP primary camera paired with a Samsung sensor, 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, this phone has a 16MP camera. Back camera delivers decent photos, supports decent dynamic mode, no overexposure while underexposure is available, Ultrawide camera also takes good pictures due to ISP of dimensity 100. photos are soft beacouse it is only 8MP of sensor.

Design and build quality

Redmi k50i is comfortable in hands and Xiaomi has cut corners. It has a plastic build in the back and Gorilla Glass protection on the front of this phone. You will get rainbow effect when you shake the device. You will also get 3.5mm audio jack in Redmi k50i phone.

Speakers

The Redmi k50i packs two stereo speakers in the top and bottom sections which adds to the design of this phone. The sound quality of this phone is very impressive.
